# KB-12B: Troubleshooting: slow internet or offline

Many hosts operate in areas with limited bandwidth. To mitigate slow connections, download video files ahead of time and play them locally. MyJOG offers lower-resolution versions that require less bandwidth.

In case of an online JOG, encourage participants to turn off their cameras during video playback to conserve bandwidth. Consider splitting your JOG into multiple shorter sessions to reduce data usage. For purely offline settings, request a JOG kit containing all materials on a USB drive.

When hosting online, ask participants to join from locations with the best available internet and to avoid streaming other content simultaneously. If connectivity drops during a session, pause, pray and resume when stable. Remember that God can work through any medium; focus on the conversation rather than the technology.
