# KB-30: Post-JOG next steps: Giving Groups

The Journey of Generosity is designed not just for individual transformation but for community transformation. Giving Groups are the natural next step — a small community (usually 5–8 people) that meets regularly to pray, discuss generosity themes, support one another, and give collaboratively.

For JOG Plus and JOG Lite participants, the Giving Group Workshop is an optional built-in session (approximately 95 minutes) offered at the close of the JOG or scheduled for a later date. The workshop guides the group through five practical steps to form a giving group and complete a shared Giving Group Plan. If your group decides at the end of Session 5 (Lite) or Session 6 (Plus) that they want to give together, move straight into the workshop or set a date to reconvene.

For JOG Core participants, a Giving Group can be started as a follow-up step — your regional coordinator can connect you with an existing group or provide training.

Giving Groups are self-facilitated; GP provides a guide and discussion prompts. Participation is voluntary, and there is no obligation to disclose donation amounts. These groups are not fundraising mechanisms — they are discipleship communities that encourage joyful, intentional giving. Members develop generosity plans, learn about ministries and causes, and pool resources to bless others.

**Next step:**  Download the Giving Group Workshop materials from your [MyJOG](https://my.generositypath.org/auth/login) event page, or contact support@generositypath.org to connect with existing groups.
