KB-33A: Creating a Generosity Plan
A generosity plan helps you prayerfully decide how, when and where to give, aligning your resources with your values and calling.
After experiencing a Journey of Generosity, many participants desire a more intentional approach to giving. A Generosity Plan is a personal document outlining your goals, priorities and timeline for charitable giving. It's not a binding contract or legal instrument; rather, it's a tool to help you discern how God is leading you to steward your resources.
The plan might include regular support of your local church, contributions to ministries you care about, and one-time gifts for specific needs. Generosity Path provides templates and reflective questions to guide you through this process. You may wish to discuss your plan with a spouse, family, financial advisor or pastor.
Because laws and tax considerations vary by country, we recommend consulting qualified professionals for advice; GP does not provide legal or tax counsel. Creating a plan can bring clarity and joy as you align your giving with your convictions and capacity.
