# KB-19: Cancellation or rescheduling a JOG

**Use the “Cancel” or “Reschedule” options in MyJOG to update your event; inform participants promptly and choose a new date if necessary.**

Sometimes circumstances change and you need to cancel or reschedule your JOG. In MyJOG, navigate to “My Events,” select the event you wish to change and click “Cancel” or “Reschedule.” If cancelling, confirm that you want to permanently remove the event; participants will be notified automatically if you selected this option during set‑up. If rescheduling, choose a new date and time and update the meeting link or location. The event code will remain the same.

Communicate the change to all invitees via email or message and encourage them to update their calendars. Avoid frequent changes, as this can reduce attendance. If you need assistance or if the event is within 24 hours, contact your regional coordinator for guidance. Remember to pray for participants and invite them to the new date promptly.
