KB-12: Low-bandwidth and offline kits

The MyJOG Portal is the primary and preferred way to access JOG resources. However, for regions with limited or unreliable internet, GP offers an offline USB solution for JOG Lite. The USB stick is preloaded with everything needed to run a complete JOG Lite offline. It contains four folders:

  1. Start Here: Includes a demo video — watch this first before exploring other folders.
  2. Registration: Step-by-step guidance on how to register as a host and register your event via WhatsApp.
  3. MyJOG: All session videos, the hosting guide, participant notebook, and Generosity Plan.
  4. Host Resources: Promotional materials, facilitation tips, and the Giving Group Workshop guide.

To receive a USB stick, hosts must first attend a JOG event to experience the journey and understand the facilitation process. Your JOG host or a GP regional representative can provide the USB or connect you with someone who can.

For surveys: USB-based JOG Lite events use the WhatsApp chatbot (+44 7403 657854) for participant registration and post-event surveys rather than the MyJOG Portal. Ensure participants have the event code and the WhatsApp number before the event closes.

For JOG Core and Plus, download videos from the MyJOG Portal in advance if your internet connection is slow.

📍 To request an offline kit, contact your regional coordinator and specify your location and language.
