Creating a JOG event
Via the MyJOG Portal:
- Log in at https://my.generositypath.org/auth/login and go to the MyJOGs tab.
- Click 'Register a new JOG.' Select your format (Core, Plus, or Lite) and complete all event details: audience type, event setting, duration, facilitation style (videos or notes), and estimated participant numbers.
- Submit to generate your unique event code. Save and pin it — you will need it during and after the event for participant registration and surveys.
Your event page will then display:
- The unique event code
- All session videos (with durations)
- Hosting guide
- Participant notebook
- Generosity Plan
- Survey links (host survey and participant survey)
- Giving Group Workshop materials (for Plus and Lite events)
Via WhatsApp (offline / USB contexts):
- Send a WhatsApp message to +44 7403 657854 and follow the chatbot prompts. See KB-63 for a step-by-step guide.
Test JOG option: If you want to explore materials before committing to a live event, register a Test JOG by ticking the 'Test JOG' box during registration. All materials are accessible without the event appearing in live reporting.
To edit an event after registration, return to MyJOGs, select the event, and click 'Edit.' To cancel, click 'Cancel' (see KB-38). The event code remains the same if you reschedule.
