After the JOG: follow-up steps for hosts
The day after the JOG
- Send a thank-you message to all participants and remind them to complete the post-event survey if they have not done so.
- For MyJOG Portal events, reshare the participant registration link, the participant survey link, and the event code. For USB events, reshare the WhatsApp number (+44 7403 657854) and the event code.
- Encourage participants to pray and reflect on what they experienced.
Community building
- Consider hosting a short follow-up gathering or online call within the next two to three weeks. Revisit the commitments participants made, celebrate insights and stories, and pray together.
- If your group is forming a Giving Group and you have not yet run the workshop, schedule it now.
Multiplication
- Identify potential new hosts among your participants — people who were particularly engaged or who expressed a desire to share the experience with others
- Share your own hosting story and connect them with your regional team to register.
Reporting
- Complete your host survey if you have not already done so. This is important — it helps GP track the global impact of the generosity movement.
- If you ran a Giving Group Workshop, report its completion to the GP regional team.
