Why doesn’t GP ask for money?
Generosity Path has a no‑fundraising commitment: we never ask for donations or collect money during a JOG.
A core distinctive of Generosity Path is that the Journey of Generosity is never about raising funds. We believe that conversations about generosity flourish best when there is no pressure to give. You will never be asked to donate at a JOG, and we will not allow anyone else to ask for money either. Generosity Path is funded by a small group of donors who believe that generous-minded people living radically generous lives can transform the world.
Our goal is to create space for honest dialogue, biblical reflection and peer storytelling. While we believe giving is a joyful expression of faith, decisions about where and how much to give are deeply personal. For that reason, hosts are trained to avoid solicitation and to respect participants' privacy. We do not discuss financial contributions to GP during a JOG.
If you have questions about how GP is sustained, please reach out to your regional director. We welcome participants from all backgrounds and income levels; there is no minimum contribution, and there are no fees to attend. You are free to come, listen, share and leave without any financial obligation. This commitment builds trust and allows the Holy Spirit to guide each person's journey.
